I watched the Japanese movie Glory Back Home, Eiko no bakkuhomu, and it made me think a lot.
【Summary Introduction】
Shintaro Yokota. He was drafted second by the Hanshin Tigers in 2013 and was expected to have a bright future as a young hopeful. But at the age of 21, he developed a brain tumor and was forced to retire. The ‘last play’ he showed in his final game left a deep impression not only on baseball fans but on many people.

First, I felt deep respect for professional baseball players. They practice every day and carry big pressure. Now, when I watch a game, I see their effort more clearly than before.
Second, I felt proud to be a Hanshin Tigers fan. Cheering for the Tigers is part of my life, and this movie reminded me why I love this team so much.
And most importantly, the movie made me realize something simple but important. Being alive is not something we can take for granted. That is why I want to live each day seriously and do my best in the present moment.
This movie was not only about baseball. It quietly taught me how to live.
