I didn’t start as a passionate baseball fan. The Hanshin Tigers were simply part of everyday life, always on TV, always around.
Living in Osaka, it’s impossible to ignore the Tigers. Here, the fans are especially strong and proud.
As I got older, I began to understand the game more. But more than that, I came to admire the fans. Moreover, I enjoy the flow of the game, the small moments, and the stories behind each player. Wins are joyful, losses are painful, but both feel meaningful.
Being a Hanshin Tigers fan as an adult is not about excitement alone. It’s about connection, memories, and quietly cheering for something you love.
That’s how the Tigers became my team.
